A modern take on the classic top hat, this mini top hat has its roots in ladies equestrian hats of La Belle Epoch- think Lady Mary in the early Downton Abbey series. The modern interpretation is much more playful, but still as sassy, flirty and classy.

This Mini Top Hat is worn close to, or over the forehead hair line and definitely to one side. "Hat Magic" is provided via the hat elastic which slips over the back of the head and blends seamlessly with any hair color or style.

Constructed on a base of theater weight buckram and entirely hand sewn, this mini top hat is as sturdy as she is lovely. The hat is approximately 4" tall and 5" wide, not including poufs and streamers.

Can be made from sinamay (instead of velvet and lace) for a bright summery look .
